DinarView
DinarView is the dinar side of what Kurdcoin does. It publishes the rate the Iraqi dinar is actually changing hands at on the open market — what the exchange offices quote — read from office boards through the trading day rather than derived from the central bank’s official figure.
It started as an internal tool. Kurdcoin prices trades in dinars, and a trade has to be priced against something real, so the street rate was tracked first in a spreadsheet and then in a database. That record is now the oldest unbroken dinar series the team holds, and every chart on the site begins there.
Today it is a public site in five languages — English, Arabic, Kurdish, Turkish and Persian — free, with nothing to sign up for: the market rate for the dollar and other currencies, the Central Bank of Iraq’s official rate beside it, rates city by city, gold by the mithqal and the gram, charts, a converter, and a glossary that explains every term it uses.
Kurdcoin builds it, pays for it and runs it from Erbil. It is at dinarview.com.
